Margot Harris, RNC, MSN, WHNP, IBCLC, is a women’s health nurse practitioner and lactation consultant. She has served her hometown community women in Southern WI as a nurse practitioner for 19 years. Margot is expert at caring for women’s comprehensive health needs throughout the lifespan. She believes in your right to know and make informed choices about your health. Margot focuses on well-being and preventing health problems. Nurse practitioners are well-known as skilled clinicians and patient educators giving high quality of care with highly satisfied patients.

Margot is passionate about helping families enjoy a successful breastfeeding relationship. She has volunteered in the community as a La Leche League leader and has served on several county and state breastfeeding coalitions and local advisory boards.
Margot earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Wheaton College, IL in 1999 and a Master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2000. She passed the international lactation consultant board exam in 2007. She is board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic & Neonatal Nursing Specialities. She is licensed through by the state of WI as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber. She earned a certificate in holistic nutrition through Hawthorne University’s Wise Traditions program based on the teachings of Weston A Price, DDS. She has completed a Sexual Health course through Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She is a level 1 certified Touch for Health practitioner.
Margot enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years, homeschooling her four children, hiking outdoors, sewing and reading.
